This two-day beginner sewing class is perfect for those who are brnad new to sewing or need a refresher. In a supportive, small-group setting, students will learn sewing machine basics while completing two functional projects over the course of the class. Ideal for beginner sewists ages 8 and up.
Across both sessions, students will gain hands-on experience with essential sewing skills and techniques while building confidence at the machine.
Students will learn:
Sewing machine basics and safety
How to thread and operate a sewing machine
Straight stitching and seam fundamentals
Measuring, cutting, and fabric handling
How to install a zipper
Projects completed:
Zipper pouch
Tote bag
No prior experience is required. This class is designed to move at a comfortable pace while allowing time to practice skills over two days.
